This privacy policy explains how Survo Limited, trading as Survo Chartered Surveyors ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses and protects personal information when you use our website at survo.co.uk ("the Site").
We are the data controller for the personal data we collect through this Site. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number ZB283983.

2. What data we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form, and what any web server records automatically.
If you send an enquiry:
- Your name, your email address, the service you selected, and whatever you write in the outline field.
Automatically, when you visit:
- Your IP address, browser type and the pages you requested, in our hosting provider’s server logs.
- An anonymous count of page visits, through our hosting provider’s cookie-free analytics. It records which pages are read, in aggregate — it does not identify you, follow you to other websites, or build any profile of you.
This Site sets no cookies. The visit counting above is the only measurement it uses; it is served from this domain, works without cookies, and holds nothing about you as an individual. Beyond that the Site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind, and it loads nothing from a third party — the typefaces are served from this site rather than from Google. We do not collect special category data, such as health or biometric information, and the Site is intended for adult use.

4. How we use it
We use your data to:
- Reply to your enquiry, and carry on that correspondence
- Keep the Site running and protect it from misuse
We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or automated decision-making with legal effects. Sending an enquiry does not add you to any mailing list.
5. Who we share it with
Service providers (data processors) acting on our instructions:
- Vercel — website hosting and cookie-free visit counting. Server logs and aggregate page counts only; the Site itself stores nothing.
- Resend — email delivery, so that your enquiry reaches our office.
Each processor is bound by a data processing agreement that meets UK GDPR requirements.
Legal authorities — if we receive a valid legal request, such as a court order or a request from a regulator.
We do not sell your data, share it with advertising networks, or pass it to anyone else for their own marketing.
6. How long we keep it

When you ask us to erase your data, see section 8, we delete it within 30 days unless we are legally required to keep it — in which case we tell you what we are keeping and why.
7. International transfers
Your data is stored in the UK and the EU. One of our service providers transfers data further:
- Resend is US-based; those transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses.
We have assessed that transfer under the UK transfer rules and consider the safeguards adequate.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention exceptions
- Restriction — ask us to stop using your data in specific ways
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent. We do not currently, and we would say so here if that changed.

9. How to exercise your rights
Email us at mail@survo.co.uk with:
- Your name and the email address you used
- The right you are exercising
- Any detail that would help us find your enquiry
We will respond within 30 days. If a request is complex and we need longer, we will tell you why and when to expect a response.
10. Cookies
This Site sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, marketing or tracking cookies — the visit counting described in section 2 works without any — so there is nothing to consent to and no cookie banner.
11. Security
We protect your data using:
- TLS encryption for everything in transit
- Access limited to the people dealing with your enquiry
- Email held on cloud services with their own encryption and access controls
If we discover a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the Information Commissioner’s Office within 72 hours where we are legally required to.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version on this page is always the current one, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.
